Accommodation on Waiheke

Waiheke is a very popular destination in the summer and accomodation can fill up quickly, so we suggest you book early if possible. Note that if you are staying on the island the night of the wedding, most accommodation will have a 2-night minimum stay policy, as it is a Friday night.

We are recommending guests stay at Onetangi Beach Appartments, where we have made a group reservation for Thursday and Friday nights under Sprosen/Walpole. The reservation will be held until 11th January. This is where the bus is doing drop-off and pick-ups.

Below we have listed some information about the rooms that is not available on the website. Please see the appartment's website for rates etc.
  • Courtyard Studios: 1 x double bed and 1 x sofa bed
  • Courtyard & Beachfront 1 bedroom apartments: 1 x double bed and 1 x sofa bed
  • Courtyard & Beachfront 2 bed appartments: 1 x double bed, 1 x king split (can sleep double or 2 singles) and 1 x sofabed
  • Crows Nest: 2 bedroom 2 x king split (can sleep double or 2 singles) and 1 x sofa
  • Strand Apartments: 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms 1 x double and 1 x king split (can sleep double or 2 singles)
If you want to share a larger unit to cut down on costs, why not put a comment under this post to find others who want to do the same.

If you would like to stay somewhere other than the Onetangi Appartments, the Waiheke Tourist Information Site is the best place to look, with a large list of accomodation providers.
